Amaterasu of Mikado

Considered by many to be a god, Amaterasu is truly a wonder. By the time the Five Star Stories begins, he has already lived longer than most other people, and is thought to have undergone the process that makes Fatimas so eternally young, the ezlazer treatment.

Amaterasu is frighteningly powerful. While he was a baby, he was was thought to be autistic, as he did not respond to external stimuli. In fact he was having so much fun travelling the universe inside his head, that he just didn't want to. When this was discovered, his mother tried to block this by employing powerful psychics. Amaterasu simply summoned a demon, and had it destroy them all. He now keeps many powerful psychics in line, just by his existence.

Amatersau is capable of shape-changing, and has two alter-egos, Mel Rince and Ladios Sopp.

Ladios Sopp

Sopp is the opposite of Amaterasu. Where the emperor is cold and emotionless, Sopp is driven by his emotions. Sopp is known as one of the finest meisters (Mortarheadd designers) in the Joker system, and is known for building some of the most beautiful MH. Ladios is married to Lachesis.

Lachesis

Lachesis is a fatima, a humanoid computer needed to pilot the massive mortarheadds. However, unlike almost all other fatima, Lachesis doesn't have the mind control mandated by Joker law.
